Glock 19 gen 5 9mm Semiautomatic Pistol
To begin The Glock 19 gen 5 has over 20 design improvements from its Gen4 predecessor. This pistol is proof that even the most advanced polymer pistols can be improved. The Glock Marksman barrel has an enhanced polygonal pattern that allows for better gas sealing and less fouling.
Moreover, The Gen5 retains the Gen4’s reversible magazine catch but adds a one-piece slide lock that is truly ambidextrous. This is a nice upgrade, especially for lefties. Both the magazine and its mag well have been updated. Furthermore, The magazine now has an orange follower to identify empty pages visually and an extended lip to grip. For faster reloads, the mag well has been flared. The finger grooves have been removed, and the front strap has a cutout to extract the magazine. It’s still the Glock you love. It’s just a bit more shooter-friendly.
